Labrador Retriever Prints

We are probably best known for our Labrador prints. We were I believe the first English company, way back in the early nineteen eighties, to produce Labrador prints in offset photo litho printing and John Trickett was the artist whose Labradors we published. Indeed he too is probably best known for his Labrador paintings although he is an outstanding artist who can paint many subjects, as can be seen from the book about his work published in 2008.

There are usually several fabulous black labrador paintings on show at our gallery in Tuxford, Nottinghamshire sometimes the originals of the Labrador prints.

John is not the only successful painter of labradors whose work we have reproduced as prints. Paul Doyle has produced a number of very successful labrador prints, many of which have sold out but there are currently in the range by him some great images including 'A Vintage Year' showing labrador puppies, 'Breakfast in Bed' showing a very contented labrador on his master's bed and 'The Water Boys' showing two Labradors playing in water. Debbie Gillingham works in pastels and her successful labrador prints include 'The Lost Boy' and 'Christmas Cracker', the latter showing a black labrador puppy with a cracker.

Our other artsist who have produced Labrador prints include Josephine Copley, Gillian Harris and Elizabeth Scrivener.

I hope you will enjoy our collection and of course if you decide you would like your own Labrador painting our artists do take a few commissions each year. There is however always a waiting list so don't leave it too late if it is for a special present. Our prints on the other hand are normally posted the day we receive the order so for a last minute very special present they are perfect!
