British Ferns and their Allies by Thomas Moore pub circa 1900 This delightful little book was published at 6p and became a standard work on ferns. It ha 11 lovely colour plates.and a 187 pages of text. The coloured pictorial hard cover with an advert for Monkey Brand Soap on the reverse is grubby and a little battered. It is an ex library copy and has some stamps inside and the end papers are discoloured but otherwise generally clean and a fairly rare 1st edition. 7 1/2ins x 5ins.
