Charles Edward Stewart (exh. 1887-1938) is recorded as having been born in Glasgow. He studied art at the Royal Academy schools and at Juliens in Paris. He exhibited at the RA , the Royal Hibernian Academy and the RSA as well as minor exhibitions. He is recorded as living in Little Kimble in Buckingahmshire in his later years. His hunting paintings are always of good quality with an ability to paint movement. His style and pallet are very similar to that of F.A.Stewart and I believe they were probably related. If anyone can offer more information I would be very interested to hear.
