Our Gallery - Sally Mitchell's Gallery in Tuxford
Sally Mitchell’s Gallery is situated in the historic market town of Tuxford, just off the A1 in North Nottinghamshire. Housed in the former ‘Newcastle Arms’ an 18th century coaching inn originally owned by The Duke of Newcastle.
The building was boarded up and left for derelict in 2006, where, as the centre point of Tuxford it became an eyesore! Sally and John Mitchell purchased it in 2011 at auction from ‘The Bank’ and have been steadily renovating it ever since. Downstairs across three large rooms, houses the gallery where our full range of prints and cards can be viewed alongside an ever changing display of original paintings, primarily by our own in house artists; John Trickett, Malcolm Coward, Paul Doyle, Debbie Gillingham, Frederick J Haycock and Jonathan Walker, but others too and some early pieces.
