The Pointer Sancho and Pheasant. This is an old print that would appear to have been copied from Ben Marshall\'s print of Sancho,a famous Pointer that belonged to Sir John Shelley Bart. It is not the original print lacking the quality of Turner\'s engraving and lacking some of the background matter. It would however appear to be early 19thC although I have not opened the frame. It is age darkened and there are some small white specks and a very small almost un-noticeable tear. It does not appear to have a border. It is framed in a 1960s Hogarth frame which is opening slightly at the corers. It has a dusky rose pink mount. The whole thing is very decorative and is only sold as that.Image area 26 x 37, Framed size 43 x 51 cm. Overseas postage at cost.
