Just occasionally we are fortunate enough to be able to offer for sale original paintings by Keith Woodcock. Keith is one of the outstanding painters of avaition and as well as being commissioned to paint for the Royal Airforce he has also been commissioned by Air America, the avaition branch of the CIA.
Keith Woodcock has won numerous awards for his paintings. He is a full member of both the Guild of Aviation Artists (GAVA) and the Guild of Motoring Artists (GMA). He is also an Artists Fellow of the American Society of Aviation Artists (ASAA).
In 1985 he gained the Par Excellence award at the Oshkosh International Art Exhibition, Wisconsin, U.S.A. He then won the £1000 Aviation Painting of the Year award at the Guild of Aviation Artists Annual London Exhibition in 1986. In 1989 he was awarded the Wilkinson Sword Trophy for the best oil painting at the Guild of Aviation Artists Annual London Exhibition.
He has extibited extensively in the U.K., Germany, Italy and America since 1986 and his paintings hang in the Royal Air Force Museum, Royal Air Force College, Cranwell, British Aerospace and other corporate, service and private collections world wide.
While he remains one of the leading painters of wings and wheels, it is through the use of light and atmosphere that Keith Woodcock wishes to see his work appeal to a wider spectrum of people, not just the enthusiast but the family as well.
