Vintage Racing Scene by John Beer: 1860-1930"

This charming depiction of an early horse race is based on a painting by English artist John Beer, active during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Though information about Beer is scarce, it appears he was most prolific between 1895 and 1915, with some sources indicating his passing in 1915. His speciality was portraying horses, and he was particularly renowned for his depictions of racing scenes.
